BOUNDARIES! CONSENT! ACCOUNTABILITY! NOW WITH ART!
This 4-week experiential art-based workshop explores how we identify and communicate our boundaries, navigate consent, respond to other people’s boundaries, and practice accountability when harm or conflict occurs.
Registration includes all four sessions:
Session 1: September 17, 6:30–8:30 PM
Explore what boundaries are and practice checking in with ourselves to recognize our needs, limits, wants, and capacity before communicating them to others.
Session 2: September 24, 6:30–8:30 PM
Consent beyond permission and “enthusiastic consent” as an empowering, values-guided practice. Building on boundaries, we’ll explore our yes, no, maybe, and everything in between.
Session 3: October 1, 6:30–8:30 PM
Accountability as an anti-carceral practice (not punishing/cancelling each other). We’ll focus on responsibility, repair, and the possibility of reconciliation. Using the "Accountability Formula" as a guideline-Responsibility = Impact − (Capacity × Compassion). We’ll consider accountability as values-guided, shared responsibility and collective action.
Session 4: October 8, 6:30–8:30 PM
Bring boundaries, consent, and accountability together as interconnected, fluid practices. We’ll explore how they shift with context, relationships, and capacity, and practice navigating the complexity in between.
